Fail to Plan and Plan to Fail

Okay, so I got this saying from Weight Watchers. It really is a good mantra for keeping your diet in check. However, this is also a really good life motto and a very important thing when planning a trip, especially to Disney World. As any Disney Geek will know, you have to have a plan if you want to get the most out of your trip. Sure, you can just arrive at Disney World and just go with the flow. However, if you're going to spend that much money on a vacation, you really need a good plan in place. Now, I'm not talking about planning every hour of every day. I'm speaking of things like making sure you pick the best parks to go to each day -- I mean if SpectroMagic was only happening on Friday during my stay, then Friday would be Magic Kingdom day! Some of you are shaking your heads and thinking I'm insane. Some of you are nodding your heads. You know who you are.

The planning is such a major part of it for me. I enjoy studying the park hours, parade and firework schedules, and things like EMH (
Extra Magic Hour). I try to keep up with what's going on and always keep the next trip in mind because you never know when you'll get to go back. In fact, we weren't going to go this year, but had an unexpected windfall that was EARmarked as soon as it came in.

Speaking of plans, I've digressed from my plan for tonight. I've got to finish cleaning the house and packing.

Alas, the mouse awaits...
