Who was it that said that the only thing that's constant is change? The same is true about Walt Disney World. You might even remember my post where I was waxing nostalgic. Well, another attraction has gone the way of 20,000 Leagues, Skyway, and the "E" ticket. Tarzan Rocks in Disney's Animal Kingdom had its last show on 1/21/06. We saw this show for the first time last May and it was pretty incredible. All those roller bladers, dancers, and singers. Wow! I had no idea; some things you just have to experience yourself first hand.
However, Disney doesn't let you down. For everything closed, something new is ready to open. Just down the street from the recently closed Tarzan Rocks is Disney's newest mountain. Expedition Everest is the new "E" ride at Animal Kingdom. I can't believe that this is what Expedition Everest looked like last May!
Yes, I'm ready for the Yeti and for the ride, too! I can't wait to zoom through Mount Everest with the yeti after us. Nevermind I've seen several videos that have so totally spoiled it for me now. I'm just not a surprise person. Of course, I had to check it out because I have kids, sure that's the ticket, to make sure it's safe for them. ;) I really hope they are having soft openings for this ride in March before the official opening in April. From what I hear, it's an awesome ride!
Goodbye Tarzan. Hello Yeti!
