Now & Then

After posting all of the photos taken at the same spots through the years, I was inspired to create a scrapbook just for these pictures. I had a Creative Memories 7 x 7 Mickey Mouse book that is a great size for a little theme album. I wanted a special title page, so I used one of my favorite title techniques -- mosaics. The color photo is "now" and the black and white is from 2003. I used the Mickey Fonts on the Cricut machine to create most of the titles. I also used rubber stamping and embossing on the page. It's hard to see, but there is a stamped and embossed pocket watch on the bottom right of the page next to the rightmost bracket. The pocket watch represents the passing of time and also reminds me of Main Street.

All of the "now" (2007) photos throughout the book will be in color and the "then" photos will be the different photos taken in the past. I hope it turns out like I envision.
